Replacement Badge Requests for NWRESD Staff 

Replacement badges are made in the Human Resources Department:
  • Email all requests to cquinn@nwresd.k12.or.us
  • The request must be made using your NWRESD email account
  • Replacement badges cost $5 each

ID Badges - Frequently Answered Questions

When will I get my new badge?
New badges will be sent to your supervisor through the NWRESD courier and will arrive at the building you call “homebase” during the month of October.

What do I do when I get my new badge?

Please test the badge by using it to access a door you would normally access with your fob.

What if I do not want to switch?

For security reasons and for a clean implementation of the new badges, ALL staff are REQUIRED to make the switch.

What picture can I use for my new badge?
A headshot with a gray background is the only acceptable photo. It needs to be an identifying headshot.

I don’t use a fob right now. Will I be getting a badge with fob capabilities?
No. Only employees who currently use fobs will receive a badge fob. The badge you will receive looks the same but will not be able to scan you into buildings.

Which sites will use the fob?
Any sites that use Sonitrol electronic locks will be using the new badges to get access to their building before and after hours.

Should I return my current fob?
Yes. Please return your fob to your supervisor once you receive your updated badge. 

I use a fob to access several buildings right now. Will my new badge have the same capability?
Yes. If you need access to multiple sites, your badge will be activated to work at every site you need to access. If you need additional access, please request it from your supervisor. They will coordinate with Facilities. 


What do I do with my old badge?
You can keep your old badge or recycle it!

Will I need to pay for my new badge?

No. You will only need to pay a $5 replacement fee if you lose your badge. 

My badge isn’t working. What do I do? 
Please call Facilities at 503-614-1432 so they can check the status of your badge. If they confirm it is malfunctioning, you will be issued a new badge.

What if I lose my new badge?

Call 503-614-1447 to report your lost or stolen badge. Facilities will deactivate your badge. You will be charged $5 to replace your badge. Please keep your badge in a secure place when you are not wearing it. 

What do I do with my ID badge when I leave the ESD?

Return your badge to your supervisor so it can be deactivated.
